Your budget
Your entries and preferences are saved in this browser. Without signing in, they stay on this device unless you export or share them. While signed in, saved records sync automatically to your account and other signed-in devices. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see them. Clearing site data can remove your local records.
Your account
Signing in uses your email address and keeps a session on this device. A connected sign-in account may also supply basic profile details. Signing in loads your account records and enables automatic syncing of saved budgets, expenses, goals and garden check-ins. Offline changes wait on your device until it reconnects. Conflicting edits may require you to choose a copy. An earlier device copy may be retained locally for recovery.
Keeping the service running
We and our service providers process account details, sign-in and backup activity, and basic connection information such as IP addresses, browser details and request times to operate, protect and troubleshoot AfterEMI. Support messages are used to respond to you. Access is limited to service operations and support.
Backup activity records remain until removed by the operator; deleting an account removes their link to it. Other service logs and recovery copies follow the applicable retention settings and may not disappear immediately after deletion.
Website usage and your choice
Optional Google Analytics measurement starts only when you choose Accept analytics. It helps us understand visits, popular pages, general device information and which tools visitors open. We do not send your email, financial amounts, expense notes or saved budget records as custom analytics data. Advertising consent remains denied and advertising personalization is disabled.
Reject optional keeps this measurement off while leaving your budget, sign-in and saving features available. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any public page to change your choice. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes it. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement and removes accessible analytics cookies; it does not erase reports already collected.
Sharing and reminders
Budget links contain readable financial information. Anyone with a link or exported file can keep a copy, so share carefully. Shared copies cannot be recalled. Calendar reminders start only after you import the reminder into your calendar; your calendar controls notifications.
Delete or manage your information
Use Your space to download your records or delete daily entries. While signed in, deleting daily records also syncs that deletion to your account. Contact us to remove your entire online copy. Signing out leaves local records in this browser. To remove all local records, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing browser site data does not delete your account or shared files.
For account deletion or privacy questions, contact us from your account email. We may verify ownership before acting. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or bank statements.
